U.S.-Iran deal grants access to Tehran’s nuclear sites: UN watchdog

The U.S. and Iran’s interim peace agreement gives inspectors from the U.N. nuclear watchdog access to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear sites, according to the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
“There is an agreement and to comply with that agreement, the IAEA will have to have access and inspect,” IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said at a news conference in Japan on Friday.
“We hope to be there soon,” he added. CNBC has contacted the IAEA for further comment and is awaiting a response.
