Alligator Energy Limited (ASX: AGE, ‘Alligator’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to provide an update on the completion of the first well pattern at the Samphire Uranium Project Field Recovery Trial (“FRT”), representing a key milestone in demonstrating in-situ recovery (“ISR”) performance under field conditions.

The first well pattern has now progressed through the planned recovery cycle, delivering outstanding results that are consistent with, and in many areas exceeding the assumptions outlined in Alligator’s Scoping Study as well as internal models. Importantly, the trial confirms the strong technical viability of recovering uranium from the Samphire palaeochannel system using ISR and underpins the projects economic assumptions in Alligator’s Scoping Study.

Highlights

Uranium was successfully extracted from first well test pattern hitting AGE’s target of 70% recovery over 70 pore volume exchanges.

The extractor well delivered flow rates of more than 5 L/s in pump testing surpassing typical global ISR well flow rates of 0.5-3 L/s (driven by favourable permeability), confirming effective fluid movement within the mineralised zone.

Average grade of uranium in solution from the test pattern was 115 ppm U₃O₈, exceeding Alligator’s Updated Scoping Study1 (“Scoping Study”) assumptions, sitting at the upper end of the 70–120 ppm range observed across ISR operations globally.

Trial reagent consumption aligns with highly favourable international benchmarks.

Ion exchange and elution (loading and stripping uranium from resin) process highly efficient using a simple reagent mix, demonstrating Alligator’s chloride mitigation strategy works and clear optimisation upside.

Key takeaways include:

Strong permeability performance, confirming effective fluid movement and connectivity within the mineralised zone.

Uranium recoveries achieving benchmark of 70% within approximately 70 pore volumes, demonstrating favourable leaching kinetics and efficient uranium mobilisation.

Strong wellfield flow, with flow rates exceeding 5 L/s, confirming favourable permeability relative to typical ISR operations.

Reagent consumption aligns with “highly favourable category” under international benchmarks indicating efficient leaching conditions and limited reagent losses.

Robust solution grades, with an average of 115 mg/L U₃O₈, supporting effective uranium dissolution and alignment with upper-end global ISR benchmarks.

Salinity management and groundwater chemistry conditions did not adversely impact recovery performance, supporting stable ISR operating conditions.

Wellfield control and stability were maintained throughout the trial, with no material deviations in hydraulic behaviour or flow distribution.

Ion exchange and elution recovery process in the plant successfully demonstrated, confirming downstream processing viability with clear optimisation upside.

Importantly, the trial confirms the strong technical viability of uranium recovery from the…

Trading under the ticker “PTRN,” the stock opened at $13.50 after the company sold shares at $14 in its IPO, the middle of the expected range. The shares closed up 11% at $15.63 on Friday.

Pattern’s offering raised $300 million, with half the proceeds going to investors, and valued the company at about $2.5 billion.

The Utah-based company was founded by husband-and-wife duo David Wright and Melanie Alder in 2013 as iServe Products before it changed its name to Pattern in 2019. Pattern currently ranks as the No. 2 Amazon seller in the U.S., based on the number of customer reviews, according to research firm Marketplace Pulse.

The company describes itself as an “ecommerce accelerator” that helps more than 200 brands optimize their sales on online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Target and TikTok Shop.
The tech IPO market has roared back to life in recent months after an extended dry spell. Peter Thiel-backed cryptocurrency exchange Bullish, design software company Figma and stablecoin issuer Circle have also recently hit the market.

In the second quarter, Pattern reported revenue growth of 39% from a year earlier to $598.2 million. The company recorded net income of $16.4 million in the second quarter, compared with $11.3 million a year earlier. Operating income came in at $30.1 million for the period versus $23.1 million in the same period last year.

The company competes with millions of merchants who hawk their wares on Amazon’s sprawling marketplace, where third-party vendors now account for more than half of all goods sold on the site. Pattern said 94% of its 2024 revenue came from consumer product sales on Amazon, with a “substantial majority” in the U.S.

Pattern isn’t the first Amazon seller to pursue an IPO. Pharmapacks, once the top U.S. Amazon seller, considered going public via a special purpose acquisition company in 2021, before nixing those plans and filing for bankruptcy a year later.

Pattern is hitting the market at a time of major global trade uncertainty, a factor it acknowledged in its prospectus. President Donald Trump‘s tariff threats against trade partners have, for the past five months, sent shockwaves through markets and shaken businesses globally.

“There is significant uncertainty as to the potential actions of the U.S. government with respect to international trade policy and the impact of tariffs, particularly…

Economic uncertainty at home or military conflicts overseas — each taken alone — would normally have a significant effect on the bond market. But now, even together, they have done little to move mortgage rates.

Last week, the average contract interest rate for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages with conforming loan balances, $806,500 or less, increased to 6.88% from 6.84%, with points decreasing to 0.63 from 0.66, including the origination fee, for loans with a 20% down payment. That’s according to the Mortgage Bankers Association.

“The combination of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, current economic conditions, and last week’s FOMC meeting resulted in slightly lower Treasury rates on average. However, mortgage rates still edged higher but remained in the same narrow range,” said Joel Kan, vice president and deputy chief economist at the MBA.

Rates have moved in a roughly 25 basis point range, just around and below 7%, since early April. That has offered little incentive to homebuyers who are still facing overinflated house prices and a low supply of options for sale.

Applications for a mortgage to buy a home dropped 0.4% last week compared with the previous week, according to the MBA’s seasonally adjusted index, which included a separate adjustment for the Juneteenth holiday. Purchase demand was 11% higher than the same week one year ago, but overall it is historically low.

“The average loan size for purchase applications declined to $436,300, the lowest level since January 2025, driven by decreasing conventional purchase loan sizes,” said Kan.

Applications to refinance a home loan rose 3% for the week and were 29% higher than the same week one year ago. The average rate on the 30-year fixed last year at this time was just 5 basis points higher. Again, volumes are so low that even small changes make for big percentage moves.

The SUI/USDT weekly chart is attracting attention as the price action tightens within a defined range. After a period of decline and consolidation, the asset is stabilizing, with key support levels holding firm. The structure suggests that the asset may be gearing up for a potential shift in trend.

Price Action Coiling Up — Will SUI Snap Upward?

SUI has formed a symmetrical triangle squeeze, a pattern known for preceding explosive moves. Its price recently dipped below the lower trendline, raising alarms for a potential breakdown. However, Atres Crypto Academy noted on X that this may have been a bull trap, a temporary shakeout before a sharp reversal.

If SUI snaps back into the triangle with strong momentum, it would signal that the breakdown was a false move, and bulls may be regaining control. In that case, the stage would be for an upside breakout, with the target set at $3.50 or more.

SUI price action is forming a falling wedge pattern, a bullish reversal setup. After dropping 37% from its May highs, the altcoin is now testing a key support zone between $2.70 and $3.00, an area that has typically drawn buying interest. WEBBZ.SUI highlighted that a confirmed breakout could propel the token toward the $4.50 to $5.00 region, and if support fails to hold, the next critical level will be the $2.00 zone.

According to Gemxbt, the 1-hour chart is showing a consolidation phase around the $2.85 level, with the price stabilizing above the 5, 10, and 20-hour moving averages, signaling strength and support in this zone.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is also trending upward, steadily moving away from oversold territory. This suggests that bullish momentum is building. Furthermore, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is approaching a bullish crossover, indicating possible upward price movement if confirmed by increased volume.

Signs Of Strength Emerging

SUI has quietly surged from under $0.60 to over $4.00 in less than a year, making an impressive nearly 7x gain despite pullbacks. The price-performance underscores the growing interest and momentum behind the token.

Emilio Crypto Bojan mentioned that the fundamentals are starting to catch up with the price action. DeFi aggregator volume has now surpassed $45 billion, with a 19% increase over the past 30 days, and bullish vibes are building ahead.

SUI is showing signs of strength after holding the critical support zone at $2.70, suggesting that a potential bounce is building. Presently, the market structure shows that conditions are favorable for a reversal, provided the bulls step in decisively.
Mortgage rates have barely budged in the last month. That, and a broader concern among consumers about the state of the economy, has also kept mortgage demand muted.

Total mortgage application volume dropped 1.6% last week compared with the previous week, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s seasonally adjusted index.

The average contract interest rate for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages with conforming loan balances, $806,500 or less, decreased to 6.70% from 6.71%, with points increasing to 0.62 from 0.60, including the origination fee, for loans with a 20% down payment.

Applications to refinance a home loan dropped 6% for the week and were 57% higher than the same week one year ago. The annual comparison is so large because the total volume is so low. Mortgage rates were 21 basis points higher the same week one year ago. Given how low rates were during the first few years of the Covid pandemic, which sparked a massive refinance boom, there are now precious few borrowers who can benefit from a refinance at the current rates.

Applications for a mortgage to purchase a home rose 2% for the week and were 9% higher than the same week a year ago. Demand from buyers was at its highest level since the end of January, driven by a 3% increase in conventional purchases. Demand for government loans, favored by lower-income borrowers, was down 2%.

“Overall purchase activity has shown year-over-year growth for more than two months as the inventory of existing homes for sale continues to increase, a positive development for the housing market despite the uncertain near-term outlook,” said Joel Kan, vice president and deputy chief economist at the MBA.

Mortgage rates started this week slightly lower but are still moving in a very narrow range as uncertainty over tariffs keeps the markets guessing.
