Corazon Mining Limited (ASX: CZN) (‘Corazon’ or ‘Company’) is pleased to announce it has entered into a binding Heads of Agreement (“Agreement”) with Dynamic Metals Limited (ASX: DYM) (“Dynamic Metals” or the “Vendor”) to secure tenure and gold rights immediately along strike from its recently acquired Chalice Gold Project (“Acquisition”). The Acquisition comprises 100% ownership of tenement E15/1802, as well as gold rights over two adjoining tenements, E15/1705 and E15/1721 (see Figure 1).

Highlights

Corazon has entered into a binding agreement to secure strategic tenure and gold rights across three tenements covering 170km2 , immediately north and south of the Chalice Gold Project.

Acquisition comprises 100% legal and beneficial ownership of E15/1802, plus gold rights over the adjoining tenements E15/1705 and E15/17211 .

Extends Corazon’s footprint well beyond the existing Chalice Mining Lease and Mineral Resource (191koz @ 2.7 g/t Au2 ), securing both the priority southern corridor and the underexplored northern extension of the greenstone belt totalling 40km of prospective strike.

Acquired tenure hosts several undrilled structural and geochemical targets within the same mineralised sequence that hosts the Chalice deposit, providing a pipeline of opportunities for follow-up exploration.

Builds directly on the Chalice, Two Pools and Feather Cap acquisitions, further cementing Corazon’s position as a focused Western Australian gold explorer and developer.

Newly consolidated tenure to be incorporated into Corazon’s district-scale exploration strategy alongside Phase 1 resource growth drilling at Chalice, targeted to commence Q3 CY 2026

The Acquisition materially expands Corazon’s strategic land position across one of WA’s most productive gold belts, extending the Company’s footprint well beyond the boundaries of the existing Chalice Mining Lease and Mineral Resource. Validation of this historic data is ongoing, with results to inform the Company’s planned followup exploration program.

Chalice represents Corazon’s third WA gold project acquisition in under 12 months, following Two Pools and Feather Cap, and this latest bolt-on acquisition builds directly on that established WA gold strategy by consolidating control over one of the most prospective areas of the Higginsville greenstone belt. The Company’s Phase 1 resource growth drilling at Chalice remains targeted to commence in Q3 CY2026, with the newly consolidated tenure to be assessed as part of the Company’s broader exploration planning.

Corazon Mining Ltd Managing Director, Simon Coyle, commented:

“This acquisition secures a highly prospective corridor either side of Chalice, consolidating our position across one of the most compelling gold camps in Western Australia. We’ve picked up direct along-strike extensions to a high grade system that has already produced more than 640,000 ounces of gold, consolidating ground we believe holds real potential before…

It said staff could bid or transfer to other bases.

“JetBlue is making targeted schedule adjustments, ending seasonal service between Newark (EWR) and Los Angeles (LAX) and Las Vegas (LAS), to support growth in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport,” the airline said in a statement.

It comes as JetBlue earlier Wednesday said it would expand daily, cross-country flights with its lie-flat business class, Mint, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to San Diego on Nov. 19 and will add more Mint-equipped flights this winter to San Francisco and Los Angeles.

JetBlue has spent years trimming unprofitable routes and cutting costs to return to steady profitability.

Its last profitable quarter was two years ago, and the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport push is a big part of its strategy, JetBlue President Marty St. George told CNBC earlier this month. The airline is scouting space for a high-end airport lounge there, too, he said.

The airline is already the top carrier at Fort Lauderdale, though it was previously second to Spirit Airlines, the South Florida-based discounter that collapsed on May 2.

JetBlue executives have called out the high costs of operating at airports like LaGuardia.

“We are much, much smaller at LaGuardia than we were four years ago because it’s a $40 [enplanement fee] airport for us. And the fountain is really pretty, but … I think people would rather have low fares than a really nice fountain,” St. George said at a JPMorgan industry conference in March, referring to the 25-foot-tall water feature in the airport’s Terminal B.

Microsoft’s Thursday agreement builds on a previous A$5 billion commitment to Australia in October 2023, which it said at the time was its “single largest investment” in 40 years operating in the country.

“We want to make sure all Australians benefit from AI. Our National AI Plan is all about capturing the economic opportunities of this transformative technology while protecting Australians from the risks,” Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said at a press conference where he was joined by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella as part of the Sydney leg of Microsoft’s AI tour.

Canberra has actively sought to expand the country’s AI capacity. In December 2025, the government launched its National AI Plan, which pledged to “build an AI-enabled economy that is more competitive, productive and resilient.”

Beyond Microsoft, Canberra has courted investments from other AI hyperscalers. In July, Amazon Web Services pledged a A$20 billion investment in Australia, and in December, Australia announced a A$7 billion investment from OpenAI.

Australia has touted its edge in attracting foreign AI investment, citing its “rigorous but tech-friendly” regulatory environment. The country ranked second only to the U.S. in global data center investments in 2024, according to a ranking published by Knight Frank.

Microsoft executives inked a memorandum of understanding Thursday, pledging to abide by the Australian government’s recently announced expectations of data centers and AI infrastructure development, which include commitments to prioritize Australia’s national interest, and to ensure sustainable water usage.

Minera Alamos (TSXV:MAI,OTCQX:MAIFF) announced that it has completed its purchase of the Pan gold mine and two development-stage projects in Nevada from Equinox Gold (TSX:EQX,NYSEAMERICAN:EQX).

The Toronto-based company said Wednesday (October 1) that it closed the previously announced transaction to acquire the Pan mine, along with the Gold Rock and Illipah projects in White Pine County.

Under the terms, Minera Alamos paid Equinox Gold roughly US$88 million in cash and issued nearly 97 million shares, leaving Equinox with a 9.15 percent stake in the company.

The company also secured a US$25 million gold prepayment facility with Auramet International, structured as a 24-month loan repayable in 7,830 ounces of gold.

Minera Alamos Chief Executive Darren Koningen said the acquisition provides both immediate production and a pipeline of late-stage assets.

“We are excited to close this transformational acquisition for Minera Alamos,” Koningen said. “The addition of the Pan gold mine, along with the Gold Rock and Illipah projects, provides immediate production and cash flow while significantly expanding our late-stage project development pipeline.”

Pan is a heap leach operation that has been producing around 40,000 ounces of gold annually. Combined with development plans at Copperstone, Cerro de Oro, and Gold Rock, Minera Alamos expects to eventually scale production to more than 175,000 ounces a year, according to earlier preliminary assessments.

Meanwhile, the sale allows Equinox Gold to retain exposure to the Nevada assets through its minority equity stake in Minera Alamos.

Equinox, which operates multiple mines across the Americas, said earlier it was looking to streamline its portfolio and recycle capital into core projects.

For Minera Alamos, the addition of the Pan mine provides steady cash flow, while Gold Rock and Illipah add long-term optionality. Both development projects are in Nevada’s Battle Mountain–Eureka trend, a region known for its high concentration of producing gold mines.

The Nevada acquisition represents the second major financing effort for Minera Alamos in less than two months.

The company expects near-term contributions from Pan while advancing development work at Gold Rock and Illipah. Construction and permitting activities are underway, with timelines tied to gold market conditions and project economics.
