Resource growth potential: Drilling confirms gold mineralisation down dip outside the current MRE at BST1;gold system remains open.

130,000m drilling planned for CY2026: 16 Aurum-owned diamond drill rigs operating to drive resource growth both at Boundiali (100,000m) and Napié (30,000m drilling to start Q4 CY2026).

Next Boundiali MRE update is targeted for early Q4 CY2026 (drilling cut-off end September 2026).

Boundiali Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) expected late CY2026.

Aurum has 4.4Moz gold combined group resources including flagship 3.22Moz Boundiali Gold Project and1.16Moz Napié Gold Project3.

Aurum is well-funded for cotinued exploration success with A$54.6M cash (30 June 2026 unaudited).

Aurum’s Managing Director Dr Caigen Wang said:

“These 22 holes form part of the ongoing 100,000m CY2026 Boundiali program, targeting resource growth and higher confidence ahead of the next Boundiali MRE update. These holes have intersected shallow, high-grade mineralisation, including 5.63m @ 31.79 g/t Au from 32m (BSDD0097). The shear-hosted gold mineralisation at BST1 shows thick, wide zones with multiple intersections downhole, and as demonstrated in our PFS4 , this style of mineralisation is amenable to open pit mining. We see similar wide zones along the same trend on the BD tenement (BDT1 and BDT2) to the north.

With 16 Aurum-owned diamond rigs active across Boundiali, these results will feed directly into our next major resource update, with drilling cut-off targeted for the end of Q3 CY2026 and results early in Q4 CY2026. Drilling at BST1 is designed to materially increase the Indicated Resource (currently 6.9Mt @ 0.9 g/t Au for 190koz) in the next update, which will in turn feed the DFS due late this year.

Our balance sheet remains strong, with A$54.6M cash, enabling us to advance drilling, studies and permiƫng in…

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR, OTCQB: LFLRF, FSE: 3WK0) (“LaFleur Minerals” or the “Company”) is pleased to report results from its ongoing drilling program at the Swanson Gold Project, highlighting strong continuity of gold mineralization with significant widths and grades. The program targeted under-tested areas of the Swanson Gold Deposit and successfully intersected broad, continuous zones of gold mineralization that infill large gaps within the existing geological and mineral resource models, further confirming the potential for a large-scale gold system.

A total of seven (7) diamond drill holes were completed at relatively shallow depths, ranging from approximately 90 to 250 metres vertically, over a plunge length of approximately 200 metres (Figure 1). The holes were specifically designed to fill-in larger gaps in the previous drill data and to test the continuity of the Swanson Gold Deposit. Positive results confirm the continuity within and beyond the limits of the 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate and planned pitshell, confirming large-scale gold expansion with broad high-grade intercepts (refer to press release dated March 3, 2026).

Drilling Highlights:

2.95 g/t Au over 80.00 metres (SW-25-085)

2.37 g/t Au over 88.05 metres (SW-25-086)

1.29 g/t Au over 93.85 metres (SW-25-087)

0.86 g/t Au over 103.55 metres and 1.14 g/t Au over 56.65 metres (SW-25-090)

Drilling focused on previously untested areas between 90 and 250 metres vertical depth, where historical drilling was limited and spacing between holes exceeded 50 metres (Figure 2). The current program has significantly increased confidence in the continuity of mineralization both within and beyond the proposed pit shell at depth.

These broad intercepts include higher-grade sub-intervals, such as 232.00 g/t Au over 0.50 metres (SW-25-085), as well as 3.98 g/t Au over 9.00 metres and 7.78 g/t Au over 1.90 metres (SW-25-087). Visible gold on Swanson is not uncommon and was intersected in three (3) of the seven (7) recent holes (SW-25-081, SW-25-083, and SW-25-087), further supporting the potential for high-grade shoots within the system at depth (Figure 3). These observations, combined with assay results, provide valuable data for refining geological interpretations and guiding future drill programs. The results offer critical insight into the geometry and plunge of the mineralized zones, enhancing the Company’s understanding of the deposit. Mineralization remains open at depth and along strike, reinforcing the strong expansion potential of the Swanson system.

The success of this infill drilling program underscores the scale, width, and continuity of the mineralized system and will directly inform future targeting as LaFleur continues to advance the Swanson Gold Project. With these results, LaFleur continues to build significant momentum in 2026 as the Company advances toward the development of a scalable, district-wide gold production platform in Québec’s prolific Abitibi…

Alberta’s premier is floating the idea of making oil and gas companies pay a deposit before they can drill a new well, a requirement which hasn’t been in place in decades and has often been resisted by industry.

The provincial government is looking at ways to address the large number of old oil and gas wells which require cleanup.

To help prevent the problem from increasing further, Danielle Smith said companies should set aside some money up front, suggesting $10,000 per well, while speaking at an industry event this week.

“They’ve got to put a little bit of money aside so that by the time it’s at its end of life, the money is there to be able to clean it up,” said Smith, during a question and answer session on stage in front of 800 people at the Canadian Association of Energy Contractors event in downtown Calgary.

If a company paid a $10,000 deposit, the amount would grow and compound with interest over time, Smith said, so when the well is no longer producing oil or natural gas, “the money would be there” to help cover reclamation costs.

“I hope that we can find a way to get to a resolution on that,” said Smith, as conversations with industry continue.

Industry pushback

Currently, there are nearly 250,000 old wells and other infrastructure that are inactive or marginally producing any oil or gas.

At the same time, the Orphan Well Association (OWA) has a record-high number of wells in need of cleanup. The OWA is an industry-funded group responsible for the reclamation of wells that no longer have an owner after a company goes bankrupt.

Smith’s suggestion of a deposit is not a bad idea, said Shaun Fluker, professor of law at the University of Calgary.

However, he’s skeptical the proposal will ever become reality.

“Quite frankly, I’m not personally going to get too excited,” said Fluker. “Until I see something tangible in that regard, I just think those comments are hot air.”

Alberta previously had a legal requirement that a company had to provide a deposit when applying for a new well licence, but the requirement was rescinded in 1986.

Fluker co-wrote a 2023 research paper on the issue, which described the orphan and inactive wells as a “made-in-Alberta failure.”

“There are other instances between then and now where industry has pushed back against programs that would probably have prevented us from being in the mess we’re in today,” said Fluker. “Every time the province backs down.”

Some oil and gas industry groups have opposed such policies by arguing they will cause financial hardship on some smaller companies and cause an increase in bankruptcies.

“We have to wait for an official announcement…

East Star Resources Plc (LSE:EST), which is exploring for copper and gold in Kazakhstan, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a new exploration licence – 3631-EL (the “Licence”), encompassing the remaining part of the induced-polarisation (IP) anomaly north of the Rulikha Deposit.

With the entire IP anomaly at Rulikha now under 100% ownership by East Star, execution of the next phase of exploration can begin. Additional historical drilling within the newly awarded Licence has also been included in East Star’s ongoing assessment of both the Rulikha Deposit and its geological interpretation of the Rulikha IP anomaly. Some highlighted intersections from the historic drilling are below.

Highlights of Historical Intersections Within New Licence:

11.4m @ 9.8% Zn, 3.1% Cu and 1.1% Pb from 196.6m

6.9m @ 17.6% Zn, 1.0% Cu and 3.3% Pb from 237.4m

11.2m @ 5.5% Zn, 0.32% Cu and 1.2% Pb from 236.0m

8.7m @ 5.4% Zn, 0.3% Cu and 0.3% Pb from 256.2m

180 historical drill holes are currently being modelled to provide an Exploration Target and assess the Reasonable Prospects for Economic Extraction (RPEE).

Alex Walker, East Star CEO, commented:

“East Star is expanding its VMS opportunities through this additional highly prospective exploration licence, adding a second soviet-era deposit to our East Region assets. Although permitting is expected to be more arduous due to proximity to a settlement, at less than 2km from an existing rail line and 11km from an underfed mill, we are eager to assess the potential economic viability of this deposit, in a region which has been mined since the mid-1700s.

In remodelling such detailed historical data, East Star will be able to assess the reasonable prospects for economic extraction prior to on the ground exploration and therefore, like Verkhuba, we will undertake a low-cost exploration campaign to verify the data and convert the exploration target to a JORC Resource.

We are grateful for the support from the Shemonaikha District in allowing us to apply for the Licence and we look forward to updating the market on future exploration activities.”

History of the Rulikha Deposit

The Rulikha Deposit and geophysical targets are situated about 33km northwest from East Star’s 100% owned Verkhuba Deposit (JORC MRE of 20.3Mt @ 1.16% copper, 1.54% zinc and 0.27% lead). Located within the Rulikhinskoe-Vydrikhinskoe Ore Field in the Shemonaikha District of East Kazakhstan, the Rulikha Deposit is a VMS polymetallic deposit primarily explored for zinc, copper and lead. The Rulikha Deposit was part of a broader geological exploration effort in the region, conducted by the East Kazakhstan Geological Exploration Expedition under the Ministry of Geology of the USSR and later the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Rulikha Deposit was discovered in the 1940s and delineated during exploration up to the 1980s,…
